The Scale is a Liar (and I can prove it)
The 204 Lie: Why your clothes tell a truth the scale can’t see
I stepped on the scale this morning and saw 204.2. My heart sank. Just yesterday, I was chasing Onderland at 201, and today, it felt like I had drifted miles away from my goal. My first thought? “I’m a total fraud".” How can I coach women to "Rise and Gleaux” when I’m struggling with a 3 lb. jump?
We’ve all been there. The fraud fog rolls in the second things don’t go perfectly. We let a number on a peice of glass define our worth, our progress, and our identitiy. I almost let that number ruin my morning. I almost let it talk me out of my mission.
But then, I pulled on my much smaller clothes. I sat down and crossed my legs - comforably, naturally.
The scale said I was “bigger” but the fabric said I was shrinking.
Progress isn’t a straight line; it’s a series of pivots. Today, I’m not bowing to the scale. I’m Reign-ing over it.
My plan?
Flush my inflammation with 100 oz of water
Fuel my body and my metabolism with high-quality protein
Keep up my routines so I can continue showing up for my business and myself
If you’re staring at a number that makes you feel like a fraud, look at your reflection instead. Look at how far you’ve come since you started at your heaviest. You aren’t stuck - you’re just in a temporart hold. It’s time to flush the doubt and RISE.
I Reign. I Rise. I Gleaux
